These cups are great. The gel stays frozen for a few hours in a temperate room. I haven’t tried outside in high heat, but I imagine you would get at least an hour. Much better than ice, and can keep drinks cold that you don’t want iced. They look cute also. I do think they are pricey for what they are, but I bought them on steep discount.I read some reviews about the bottoms busting out or bulging and it worried me, but I’ve had no issues freezing them repeatedly. I have used them and refrozen them several times. I am wondering if people are freezing them wrong. You freeze them UPSIDEDOWN.The set I got came in plain brown bulk packaging with no instructions, but I noticed online that when you buy these in a store they come in nice glossy white rack packaging. That led me to believe the glossy packaging probably comes with instructions. My plain brown bulk packaging did not. I went to the company’s website and saw directions for use that say place in the freezer upside down for white wine and in the refrigerator for red (but did not specify upside down in the refrigerator). I think people may be placing them in the freezer right side up since they don’t have instructions, causing the gel to expand in the bottom of the cup – thereby warping or busting the plastic. If you avoid this and follow the manufacturers instructions (not provided in the box but available online), I believe you shouldn’t have any problems. I sure haven’t. The seller might want to consider adding this instruction to the listing.

Doesn’t get your drink cold unless you put ice in the cup too. If a friend and I have a nice cool drink, holding it makes the outside melt quicker than I’d like without ice. Then you basically have a regular cup after one glass. Still cute, but I wish there were four so I could change them out between drinks.

I bought my cups in may, one of them fell apart at the beginning of Julyβ¦.whatever is freezing in the glass started seeping out. Liked the idea of the product, but it shouldβve lasted longer than 3 monthsβ¦.

Okay, so these are insulated PLASTIC wine glasses. Great for home use or when you’re not trying to impress anyone with your elegant glassware. What really surprised me is that 2 of the glasses came with “sippy lids” – I don’t know why. Do the sellers really expect you to serve wine to your little ones? Or are they adding this option because they think you’re going to get so soused by overconsumption of alcohol that you’re going to need this lid to keep from spilling it all over yourself and, possibly, others? One note of importance: although the manufacturer’s instructions clearly state that these should never be washed in the dishwasher, I will readily confess that (being of an adventurous nature) I decided to “try out” this directive. Generally, by the time I rinse dishes of debris and load them into the dishwasher, I never use the hot water and heat dry functions. I just use a short cycle and turn off the heat to dry. Once the dishes are washed, I just cancel the remaining functions and opens the door, pull out the trays, and they air dry in a short time. I’ve only put these wine glasses on the top shelf. They always come out perfectly clean and totally intact.I keep these glasses in the door of a large commercial size freezer that i keep in our attached garage, along with my martini glasses. I love a nice chilled glass for wine or a cocktail.

They don’t stay cold long and the liquid melts fast. It can be hard to sip of you don’t sip sideways because your nose covers the airway hole. Wouldn’t buy again. Wouldn’t gift to a friend.

I really like these glasses and had high hopes when receiving them. They are great for keeping wine cold, however, I donβt feel that they donβt stay frozen very long. I feel like after my second glass the gel has already defrosted, and it serves more as an insulated wine cup. I still like them and their function, I just wish the stayed frozen longer.
