This nightstand water jug is almost exactly what I was looking for. Something that is good looking, with a lid and a matching cup. In this case, the matching cup IS the lid. I love the look of it. It’s heavier than expected but that makes me feel confident in it’s sturdiness and less concerned about knocking it over in the middle of the night. There are only 2 things that keep me from giving it all 5 stars. One is that the neck of the bottle is very tiny and pretty much impossible to get any cleaning tool in it, so I would not recommend putting anything but water in it. I just squeeze a fair amount of soap in it, give it a good shake, and let it sit for an hour or 2 before rinsing it until all the bubbles are gone. Second thing being that it’s handmade, the cup/lid doesn’t actually sit flush on the top of the bottle, so mine is always cocked to the side a little. It bothers my OCD.

This carafe and glass are absolutely beautiful and i instantly loved it! However, one day while taking the top glass off to take a drink, i dropped the glass. I was already crying inside and panicked instantly distraught. In that split second I already saw the glass shards all over my hard wood floor. Imagine my surprise and elation when I picked the glass up in perfect condition! Not even a crack! I think i will order more this coming Christmas for gifts! SO so so happy with this purchase.

The craft itself is sturdy and has the charm of hand blown glass in the ripples of the sides and the slight wobbly angles. However the real star of the show was the Spiderman and Powerpuff Girls paper it was wrapped in. Come for the refreshment, stay for the packaging.

Thought it would be a nice addition next to the bed at my mountain retreat, however almost impossible when pouring into the glass cup, not for it to spill water on the nightstand. Have a paper towel ready for clean up.

However, the photo advertising this product is a little deceiving – be sure that you understand the order provides you with just one carafe and one little cup – not two of each. The photo depicts two, so just a mention. Otherwise, the set is really cute.

I really like the look of the Kalalou. Looks just like the advertised pic(s). It’s made of really thick glass…which I assume can’t be easily broken. Looks like a piece of art decor on my over-sized night stand. ❤️ it…!
