It holds the heat but it is hard to handle if one has normal size hands (36oz). The opening is 2 1/2 inches, so ice cubes can be added to cold drinks. I got the twist on cap that has a sturdy carry handle. For convenience, I will order the thermal cap if that makes it easier to pour my coffee into a cup. The thermos is too big and bulky to drink from it for me.

Took a chance on this as otterbox not a name typically associated with drinkware but I have to say I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how great this thermos is. It’s very high quality and keeps my water cold for hours, at a price that’s over half less than the over-hyped (but decent) yeti products. Easy to carry around and fill, love the wide opening as it makes it easier to fill. I’ve always loved otterbox phone cases and now love otterbox thermoses. Great job with this one.

This is good thermos. Coffee will remain hot for at least 12 hours before it starts to lose heat. 24 hrs later your coffee will be lukewarm. Nonetheless I like it. I have read that there were issues with tge top sealing properly. When I first received my thermos I had the same issue. But I realized that the seal (o ring) was not properly set in it’s groove. So if you have the same issue, I would carefully look at the lid.

I had to reorder this bottle 9 times, 6 thru amazon. Each one was either damaged or defective. I finally had to settle for one with 3 dents and one with what looked like a boxcutter scratch running across the bottom. I chose this model cause the wide mouth fits the kailita coffee filter to within 1 millemeter.

I bought this as a warehouse deal “like new” however, it has a small dent at the bottom. They need to do a better job of description for those items. It’s just cosmetic so I’m keeping it anyway

I love the feel and the design of the thermos. I bought this one after reading a bunch of reviews putting it atop the “best thermos” list and I’m not disappointed.

We gave this as a gift to a young person. She loved it and will eventually cover it with stickers. Pretty color while she collects the stickers. Super durable and sturdy to take to sports! Fun to personalize! The lid makes a great handle for carrying.
