If you have spent an arm and a leg on products like this hoping for something that will keep it cold for longer than a few hours, I can attest that this product lives up to its claims. Having owned similar items from companies like Yeti I was hesitant because at such a low cost comparatively how could it possibly out perform a yeti. As fate would have it, I bought my first Reduce product in a double pack from a big box members only store and promptly lost one of the two 40 ounce Thermal mugs to my 24 yo daughter, as they performed so well I was beyond shocked. We were both sold and noticed when we were out, people were always asking if they were as good as they had heard. It was easy for me to say “absolutely, if not better!” So when I went back to get more, I shouldn’t have been surprised they were sold out. Thats when I saw they advertised the growler. I decided to turn to Amazon to see all their products and was excited to find the growler for a couple dollars more but faster shipping than the big box membership store, a fair trade in my books. Now I dont leave the house without both daily.In Nevada summers keeping hydrated is necessary, and an act of God to keep things cold for an entire day, that is unless you have these Reduce products. I now always have a cold drink with me, people are always surprised as to how cold, and how I always seem to have ice in my drinks, and I have no problem saying it’s the Reduce product doing its job! I wont ever complain about how nice it is to always a nice refreshing swig of cold water or often A shake in cold drink in my mug and the ice cold water to make more in my growler. It is 100 ounces between the two makes me a happy person and frankly necessary here in Nevada!As an aside both of these products I laid down for the photo we’re completely filled with cold liquids. and placed on some thing I would not want to have to worry about drying just to prove they are leak proof. I will say though a hair elastic will easily and unnoticeably fit between the silver and the black parts in the top of the growler and not allow for a proper seal but feels like it has closed and sealed properly as I didn’t notice anything different when closing it up on a drive. I only noticed when I picked up my growler and it was empty, the cold water had leaked into the foot well of the passenger sear in my new car. Made that mistake twice; once should have been enough. However, c’est la vie, as they say in France. The second picture shows that this mug indeed had liquids in it and wasn’t leaking at all. Sideways and laying flat on its side to ensure there was liquid at both the sipping opening which was sealed and the straw opening (geeen port in the middle) and was completely sealed as well.Don’t waste time thinking twice; it’s worth purchasing and i would put mine against a more expensively priced product because of its name and guarantee that this performs as well if not better and I didnt spend a small fortune buying them. If thats not a win/win in the books I don’t know what is! Thanks Reduce for making a product that stands up to what we can throw at it here in the summer temps of 110+ ℉(43+ ℃) at and be certain that it has kept our drinks chilled and us hydrated!

I take my growler to work, filled with ice water. Currently, where I work is a welding shop with no AC. At the end of my shift, the water is still cold.I’m never going to put hot soup in here, or anything that transfers flavor, so I can’t speak to how it does at that.But I can say it is exceptional at giving you reservoir of clean, cold water.

purchased this for my son who is in college,he said he left water in it overnight because he fell asleep and in the a.m. water was extremely cold and still had bits of ice in it.

My workplace provides NO water (is that even legal? not even a drinking fountain?), so this thermos holds all the water I’ll need for the entire day. It has never once leaked. If I put a bunch of ice in it, the ice WILL NOT MELT ALL DAY LONG. This is a great thermos!

I originally bought from costco and left it somewhere. I came to Amazon and ordered exact same.This really is the best jug that I have bought. The lip that you drink out of is extremely smooth and it is also a replaceable cup.

Didn’t leak and keeps everything cold. I use this to keep water in when I go walk a round of golf and it stays cold the whole time and holds enough for the round

It seems like a great product so far but I’m very unhappy about how they were packaged. We had ordered three of them and they were not bubble wrapped or had stuffing to protect them.
