Having read reviews before purchase I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect…surprisingly very pleased!!! I got the 6 cup set. Yes, it is small, but cups are larger than expected. They are 1 5/8″ tall and 1 1/8″ wide, very stubby & cute. They hold 3/4 tsp liquid; the same amount the individual church communion cups hold. The tray is a 3 1/2″ round, sits 1″ tall on a 1/4″ base. Plenty big and deep enough for crackers. The wood looked bare, so I coated them with olive oil to darken them and I like them much better with darker finish. Yes, I wiped the oil off, and residue will dry out. I plan to purchase a dollar store small wooden tray that will hold the crackers, juice and set. I also checked for leakage, none leaked. Communion will be very special for my Hospice patients!

Exquisite craftsmanship and quality! Each piece is uniquely designed by God through nature so that no two are exactly alike now or ever. This set is most meaningful for it’s Holy Communion mission from Jesus written to us all in the New Testament of our Bibles…to do this in remembrance of Him. How moving it is to do so with wood carved from the very olive trees of His birthplace!
