   First let me say that. this growler feels solid. It’s heavy grade aluminum and feels sturdy in your hands. The mechanism for loading co2 cartridges is very easy to work. I decided to try it for kombucha rather than beer, as this is larger than the typical 64oz growlers that most bottle shops charge by.I loaded a fresh batch of kombucha and turned on the gas to get to the ~7psi suggested in the manual. This seemed great at first, so I left it to sit in the refrigerator. The next morning I poured an 8oz glass and immediately the pressure dropped to zero and the flow stopped. I thought it was likely just because it was the first attempt, so do this 3 more times over the last few days. Finally today, the pressure dropped and I was unable to increase it to get more flowing.I don’t know if the co2 cartridges are just too small to keep consistent pressure or whether the regulator has no ability to accurately read the flow, but now I’m left with a half full tank and no pressure left to continue using it through the remainder of my batch.I plan to try this again with the second co2 cartridge and another batch and will update if I somehow end up with a different result. As of right now, at over $150, I don’t see how I could recommend this.

   The media could not be loaded.  This was a gift for my husband, who enjoys sampling various specialty brews. This may be one of his all-time favorite presents from me. He appreciates that it is always a draft and that it is sturdy and keeps his beer at a great temperature. The CO2 cartridges work well to maintain the pressure on the beer and are simple to install. They are reasonably priced. It says that the beer stays cold and under pressure for 2 full days, but since the beer is gone by the end of the night, I can’t swear by it. Although when I let it sit overnight to clean, the water is still warm the next morning!On my side, it is very easy to clean.If craft beers are your thing…. this is a must have.

   It’s a little keg. High quality craftsmanship, good sized, stylish appearance, has a strap for carrying, clear instructions. Any beer enthusiast would be very pleased with this growler.

   I always enjoyed draft beer and for years we had a kegerator. As time went on I did not drink as much (couple times a month maybe) so the kegerator made no sense. I have been drinking bottled beer for years now. When I saw this I had to have it. Now I can have my draft beer again. This mini keg is well made, looks good, works good and is easy to clean. If you are paying craft beer prices then the cost of this is just a drop in the bucket and will make life just a little nicer for ya. I would buy again. 5 STARS
