   “What I liked” is… These amber glass bottles we’re very nicely and securely packaged, solid build, the tint of the amber is perfect; just as you’d want it to be, the caps are nice just don’t be careless and go Hercules on tightening them, the white pieces seal real nice and tight, the metal funnel is impressively well constructed. The 2 extra caps and the funnel don’t feel like an after thought. I myself am using these bottles to store colloidal silver. Overall fantastic product and would definitely buy again or as a gift to someone.

   50% of the order arrived damaged from factory. When you make glass vessel, you separate the glass piece from your tooling (a blowpipe) with a controlled break. Which is to say you are thermally shocking the glass in a desired way. However what arrived was either chilled too much when they broke it off; and/or they cooled the glass too quickly (even borosilicate – heated, blown & shaped, then left out on the counter to cool, has a foreshorten life if not annealed. You need to anneal / cool glass slowly to prevent thermal shock – stress from forming*).What arrived was a bottle that had a hairline fracture that grew fairly quickly, without any additional thermal shock.So the short answer if you buy, be careful with these jars and check for hairline fractures near the neck of the bottle. Mark as defective and return! (Because these are NOT tempered and will break in a messy and dangerous way (setting down high stressed and improperly annealed glass on a marble counter can shatter; cutting you badly.))[*look up tempered glass if you need a very different product]

   Arrived in perfect condition; These were exactly what I needed to make homemade Kahlua. Thick glass; Airtight caps; The funnel was a thoughtful accompaniment; transferring liquid into the bottles easy, no mess / spills.Very pleased with this purchase; buying a second set.

   Bottles and product arrived fine and have held up fine. I wanted to use them for a second fermentation of kombucha but they must not be airtight because the kombucha doesnt come out carbonated at all in these bottles compared to others I’ve tried. Just depends what you are using it for.

   These amber glass bottles are absolutely perfect for the photographer in your life. Of course, I’m talking about processing actual film photography. Mix & hold all your processing chemicals in these bottles.

   I am using my bottles for vanilla extraction. A 750 ml rum bottle will fill one of these bottles perfectly, using the funnel provided. They are like a large vanilla bottle with the same amber color. Also, the plastic stopper, for the top, keeps any particles out of the bottle. You can buy smaller bottles for distribution, but the funnel and plastic stopper are ideal for the phase 1 of vanilla extraction.

   Originally purchased for Autumn decorations, but the chemist in me loves the quality of the funnel.Great value for the money!!!
